Today, October 11th, at 16:30, the Butler Volunteer Fire Company was honored to present a retired helmet and several apparatus photographs to Mission BBQ of Hunt Valley as a token of our appreciation for their continued support for first responders. At Approximately 2300 hours on August 16th, Station 49 and surrounding stations were alerted for Firebox 60-09. TSU-491 responded to assist. E60 arrived to find a 50-50 large open controlled burn. Command scaled the incident down to the units on scene TSU491 remained on scene to assist with water supply. Due to the burn ban in effect units on scene began extinguishing the fire.
